Who I Am
I'm a data and compliance professional with over 7 years of experience operating at the intersection of financial services, analytics, and regulatory governance. Currently serving as Data & Compliance Manager at First Rate Financial, I focus on building data management frameworks that reduce risk, maintain high compliance grades, and unlock performance improvements through precision and collaboration.
What drives me is the practical application of data — not data for its own sake, but data that answers a real business question, solves a logistics challenge, or protects an organization from regulatory exposure. I've built that instinct across industries, from financial services to consumer packaged goods.
My Background
My career began in financial analysis, where I worked closely with one of the largest mortgage lenders in the United States. In that role I supported over $500 million in annual loan funding, collaborated with executive management on sales reporting and strategy, and developed a deep fluency in financial data systems and competitive market analysis.
Before that, I spent time in territory and operations management at Blue Bell Creameries, where I led a sales team, managed route logistics across multiple offices, and contributed to product development through structured data collection and demand forecasting. It was there that I first discovered how powerfully data could shape operational decisions — and I've been chasing that potential ever since.
Where I'm Headed
I recently graduated with a Masters Degree in Applied Data Science at Syracuse University, expanding my toolkit to include machine learning, AI, big data systems, and advanced quantitative analysis. My goal is to bring these capabilities directly to bear on enterprise compliance, financial operations, and data infrastructure challenges.
I believe the most valuable professionals in the next decade will be those who can bridge rigorous data science with real-world business judgment — and that's exactly the gap I'm working to fill.
